About TVS Raider 125
On September 16 2021, TVS Motors made a grand comeback in the automobile industry by launching the TVS Raider two-wheeler. It has become one of the most sought-after bikes in the 125cc range due to its affordable price range and premium features. It was priced at Rs 77,500 and goes up to Rs. 89,709 (ex-showroom, Delhi). At present, the Raider offers two different models i.e., drum (Rs 77,500) and disc (Rs 85,469). A third variant with a colour TFT dash is set to be launched soon and is strongly awaited after the success of the first two variants. The TVS Raider is available in 4 trendy colours: Fiery Yellow, Striking Red, Blazing Blue and Wicked Black.
Not even a month after the release, the verdict is out that this motorcycle has played a big role in helping this Indian multinational automotive company make up for its losses in the 125-cc segment after it discontinued the sales of TVS Phoenix 125 in 2017. The TVS Raider competes against the Bajaj Pulsar NS125, the Honda SP 125 and the Hero Glamour Xtec. However, Raider has a higher number of sales for it offers superior features at a lesser price in comparison to its competitors.
