Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara Alpha MT

Last Updated On 28th Dec’22: Team 91wheels recently created a new IBR or India Book of Records for the maximum distance covered in a single tank of fuel. The Grand Vitara Strong Hybrid managed to reach Mumbai from Delhi without a refill! 

Maruti is now accepting bookings for the upcoming Grand Vitara SUV. The booking amount stands at Rs 11,000. Maruti is bringing back the Grand Vitara name after a decade in India. The SUV was discontinued in 2013 after sales figures dropped to double digits. Though the company did use ‘Vitara’ name for the Brezza initially, with the recent update to the  sub 4m compact SUV, Maruti decided to call it just the Breeza and for the right seasons. The Grand Vitara will be a proper 4m plus SUV that will lock horns with the likes of the Hyundai Creta, MG Astor and the Kia Seltos. The SUV also share a lot in common with the recently showcased Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
