The engine will be coupled with Maruti's AllGrip 4x4 technology, making it a great match for off-roading in Indian terrain.

Maruti Jimny Rivals-The upcoming Jimny SUV will be positioned as a family lifestyle vehicle to compete with the Mahindra Thar and Force Gurkha, and will enable India's largest carmaker to increase its overall market share in the country by introducing more SUVs - a segment in which it is keen to increase its market share.

Maruti Jimny Features- With an expanded wheelbase, straight pillars with an upright muscular bonnet, honeycomb mesh five-slot grille, circular headlights, fog lamps located in the front bumper, dual five-spoke alloy wheels, and a tailgate-mounted spare wheel, the design cues are distinctly Jimny.

The inside of the SUV is blacked out, with a touchscreen infotainment panel in the centre, circular AC vents with controls below the infotainment screen, and manually adjustable IRVM.
