About Maruti Brezza

Last Updated On 1st May’23: Maruti will launch the CNG version of the Brezza in May 2023. The SUV will make use of the same kit that we see in the Grand Vitara. We can expect slightly better levels of performance due to lighter weight. The Brezza CNG will offer a maximum power of 86 bhp and peak torque of 121 Nm.

Maruti Brezza Engine - The 2022 Brezza is powered by a 1.5 litre non-turbo engine that puts out 101 bhp of power and 137 Nm of torque. This updated engine (over the earlier Brezza) scores high on fuel economy as well as engine refinement. The engine is mated to a 5 speed manual as well as an optional 6 speed automatic gearbox. The new 2022 Brezza does not come with a diesel engine any more. The petrol unit gets the benefit of a mild hybrid set up and offers 19.8 kmpl for the AT and as much as 20.15 kmpl for the manual gearbox as per ARAI certification.

Maruti Brezza S-CNG: It offers a max power of 86.6 bhp and a peak torque of 121.5 Nm. It promises 25.51 km/kg fuel efficiency rating & comes paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.
