About Volkswagen Virtus

Last Updated On 24th May’23 - In May 2023, Volkswagen Virtus was introduced in a new Lava Blue color tone. Unlike the Skoda Slavia, where it came as a special edition, Virtus offers it as a regular paint option. On top of this, VW Virtus is now also the safest car in the country with the highest safety rating score in Global NCAP, de-throning the VW Taigun. However, both share 5 stars, but the scoring points of Virtus remain higher.

Virtus Engines - The VW Virtus mid-size sedan is offered with a choice of two petrol units. The smaller one is a 1000cc turbo petrol engine belting out 115 PS / 178 Nm. It is offered with both 6 speed manual and a 6 speed torque converter automatic. The bigger unit is a 1500cc turbo petrol engine that is good for 150 PS and 250 Nm. This one is available with a quicker DCT automatic gearbox.

Price: The VW Virtus is priced between Rs 11.31 lakh to Rs 18.41 lakh (ex-showroom).
