From the South Korean automaker's lineup, the Creta has consistently been one of the best-selling cars. It has a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine with 116 bhp and 144 Nm of torque and a 1.5-liter diesel engine with 115 bhp and 250 Nmof torque. While the petrol engine is paired with a 6-speed manual IVT transmission, the diesel engine has a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission. The 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine has recently been dropped by the manufacturer.

The Creta comes equipped with a number of comprehensive Active and Passive safety features as standard. As of right now, the Creta is equipped with six airbags, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill-start assist control, rear disc brakes, seatbelt height adjustment, and ISOFIX as standard safety features. Contrarily, the Creta now includes a 60:40 split back seat as standard equipment.
