The launch of the Hyundai Verna has set the sector in a fiery race already. The sedans are again gaining traction and picking the interest of buyers from another segment as well. But, let's not forget the current market that's already the hot space. The compact SUVs. And the Hyundai Creta will be coming with a new facelifted avatar next year. And reports suggest that it will take cues from this new 4th Gen Verna.
Let's quickly discuss the changes that the Hyundai Creta will most likely be getting according to sources.
Upcoming Hyundai Creta To Get Verna Like Dashboard Layout
The Creta facelift that was due to arrive in 2023 has been pushed to 2024. The company however makes it clear that the Creta sold globally will see some India-specific changes. One such change, which is very likely, is the same dual-screen layout being employed on the Creta too.
The system looks nice and techy, plus it would also be cost-effective for Hyundai to share parts within the lineup. So, it could see two 10.25-inch screens on the dashboard, where one acts as the infotainment while the other as the instrument cluster.

More Feature To Be Copied
Another thing that Creta is likely to copy is the interior upholstery with ADAS features as well. Plus, it could sport similar switchable HVAC and infotainment controls. The safety suite like the 6-airbag setup, ABS with EBD, and all 4 disc brakes will also be available with the new Hyundai Creta.
The exterior might also be different from the one sold internationally. It could see a similar grille layout to that on the New Gen Verna 2023.
Hyundai Creta Facelift Details
The new Hyundai Creta will be powered by a new 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine that has recently been introduced in the new Verna and the Alcazar. This powertrain churns out 160PS and 253Nm of torque, which makes it even more powerful than the 1.4L turbo unit. The new Creta 1.5L turbo will be the most powerful SUV in its category as from the current information available.
VERDICT- The new Gen Hyundai Creta will reinforce the already established name of the SUV in this category. And this is 2023, and the cars have gone way above the point where they used to be just as a means of going places. They offer a plush and comfort on the go as well. The Hyundai Creta will be no different, especially after the launch of the new Verna 2023, the expectations are now even more from this star-performer SUV.
